This is O’Dea.
This is Tradition.
This is Brotherhood.

As we honor our 100-year legacy of nurturing men of character, faith, and service, we are eager to shape the next century with your support of The O’Dea Campaign: Building Our Next 100 Years. Our ambitious goal for this campaign is $15 million, and together, we can turn our vision for O’Dea into reality.

This is more than just a fundraising effort—it’s about coming together as a community. Your support is crucial. By making a donation, you will help us ensure the continued excellence of O’Dea. Every contribution, regardless of size, plays a significant role in shaping the future of our students and sustaining our proud tradition.

Areas of Support

Financial Aid Endowment

Our long-term vision is to make tuition assistance sustainable through a significantly larger endowment fund. To achieve this, we plan to significantly increase the Foundation’s endowment over the next 15-20 years. While it will take some time to build these assets, we plan to take the first major step, increasing the assets from the current $11 million to $17 million.

This will generate approximately $850,000 annually towards the more than $2 million in tuition assistance we currently provide, ensuring that more students have access to an O’Dea education.

Endowments offer a meaningful way to create a family legacy or honor a loved one, as well as an O’Dea graduating class, through a scholarship fund in their name. Once the fund reaches $25,000, O’Dea will award an annual scholarship to a deserving student in financial need. To see a list of our established named endowments, click here

Goal

  • Make a Catholic education accessible to those who might otherwise miss this opportunity, bringing diverse perspectives to our halls and classrooms.
  • Funding Needed: $6 million

Historic 1923 Building

While we’ve made significant investments in the 1923 Building, essential upgrades are still needed. These improvements will not only enhance the building’s aesthetic, functionality, and energy efficiency but also protect it from the Pacific Northwest weather for generations to come.

We’re also committed to lighting and preserving the iconic stained-glass window, a symbol of O’Dea’s rich history and tradition.

Goal

  • Ensure the 1923 building remains the center of where our students learn and grow. A place where students and alumni both, can always call home.
  • Funding Needed: $2.5 million

Kohler Field

Our new field will be a versatile space for multiple O’Dea athletic teams, including soccer, lacrosse, and football. It will also serve as a gathering place for student activities and alumni events that bring our community together.

While our athletic program has had great success over the years, it has been impacted by our limited access to athletic facilities, including outdoor practice and game fields.

To ensure a successful future, we recently purchased six acres of property from St. Paul Parish. The first property we own.

Our vision is to develop it with a turf field, lights, a scoreboard, bathrooms, equipment storage facility and a parking area for buses.

We are thrilled to announce that our new field will be named after none other than Monte Kohler. Kohler Field will not be just a place to play, it will be a symbol of Monte’s enduring influence and the strength of our O’Dea family.

Goal

  • Build a place where the bonds of Brotherhood will be formed, tested, and strengthened.
  • Funding Needed: $6.5 million
