As part of The O’Dea Campaign, we’re proud to share that this week, work has begun to restore the iconic stained glass windows on O’Dea’s historic 1923 building. This is an exciting and meaningful project that reflects both our commitment to preserving tradition and our Catholic identity.
These windows have long been a beloved part of O’Dea’s visual identity. They’ve watched over generations of students, stood witness to countless moments of reflection, and cast light into the heart of our community. But like many pieces of our historic campus, time has taken its toll. Weather, wear, and age have compromised the integrity of the original glass, making its restoration both a necessary and thoughtful step forward.
Protecting the stained glass allows us to preserve its original design, maintaining its beauty, symbolism, and spiritual resonance which will stand strong for the next 100 years.
This project is a reflection of who we are. We’re a school built on deep tradition and guided by a bold vision. Every element of The O’Dea Campaign, from the building renovations to the new field to this stained glass project, is rooted in our mission to form young men of character, faith, and service.
We’re deeply grateful to the donors and friends who have made this possible. Your belief in O’Dea and in the young men we serve continues to move us forward. If you haven’t yet joined us, we hope you will. Every gift, of any size, helps shape O’Dea’s future.
