As we continue into the new year, we’re thrilled to share the incredible progress of The O’Dea Campaign. Thanks to your extraordinary generosity and the collective efforts of our community, we’ve raised over $14 million to date! This milestone doesn’t just reflect a number, but the shared commitment to our mission of developing young men at O’Dea High School.
Your contributions have already begun to shape O’Dea’s future. During Easter break, we will remove the historic stained glass that has graced our campus for over a century and begin the process of repairing it. Once the glass has been carefully restored and protected, we will light it, showcasing its beauty and serving as a powerful symbol of our Catholic identity and the enduring values that unite our community.
Looking ahead to summer, another key initiative will take place, the replacement of the school’s roof. This essential project will benefit the functionality and energy efficiency of the building, while also safeguarding the structure against the weather. Both the stained glass and roof renovations are critical to preserving and enhancing our historic campus, and both are made possible because of you.
Progress on the newly named Kohler Field continues to move forward, bringing us closer to a space that will transform the O’Dea experience for our students, athletes, and community. This field represents more than just a place to play, it’s a cornerstone for building teamwork, discipline, and lifelong memories. We are hopeful that Kohler Field will be ready for use next school year, giving our Fighting Irish a field that matches their spirit and determination. This milestone would not be possible without the community’s generosity and belief in the future of O’Dea.
